Flight Mechanics models and control systems developed at the Area, are constantly studied and improved. Data analysis on real flight tests is vital for this objective. These data can be control model variable records or lectures and estimations from many others flight related aspects such as actuator performance, communications and system's internal processes.

Data analysis is a broad discipline with multitude of focuses and it is a fundamental part in the validation of results regarding aircraft performance and flight control systems.
