Facilities & Services
CEUS has the following equipment:
1. Test vial
It has a runway for takeoff and landing with a length of 2000m x 45m
2. Buildings
It has 4 buildings conditioned for its functions:
- 2 hangars with a useful area of 4000m2.
- Main building with a useful area of 700m2.
- Input control.
- Maintenance building.
3. Control center
- Automatic and flexible tracking system to receive, distribute, process, display and store on the ground and in real time all the information transmitted by the systems in operation through radio frequencies for the S and C bands, tracking the target. This system allows the sending of already processed data through the network.
- Control software, to access all the elements of the system from a single configurable point, it can also display the desired information on any monitor.
- Universal reference time base for all operations.
4. Communications system
- User station, with a complete set of functions included in conventional voice communication systems for a traffic control.
- Control and supervision system, with the functions of configuring, managing and supervising the equipment in the system from a single central point.
- Server for network expansion.
- Stations and antennas.
5. Weather system
- Electric discharge detector, with a minimum range of 5 km.
- Surface weather station for measuring temperature, pressure and humidity.
- PLuviometer.
- Meteorological tower for wind measurement, to measure the direction and speed of the wint.
- Visibility meter.
