The center has a secondary radar with 120 NM coverage, 360º azimuth and more than 40,000 ft altitude, with A, C, S level 2 and ADS-B modes display.

Thus systems for flight security and control is bases in a secondary radar IFF/SSR with and LVA antenna, which provides with a minimum coverage of 120 nm on every radial, and 360º in azimuth and de fligh level of the aircraft, up to 30.000 ft.

An innovative custom-made software, Smart Radar, is available, according to the high operational safety requirements that a test center of these characteristics requires. With it, it is possible to make recordings for later playback, to apply target display filters both in altitude and distance to the airfield, to configure the data of interest to be displayed for each target, to know distances between aircrafts, as well as to track them.

Furthermore, additional innovations have been included in the SERVO system to improve safety, such as the creation of static and dynamic geofences, the latter creating a safety volume on the test object, enslavement of the telemetry antenna to the radar data, as well as manual or automatic activation of emergency protocols, so that tests can be executed safely.
