Control center

The control center will be conceived as the operative core of the CIAR. Three basic and essential aspects converge in it for each operation:

  • Operative safety
  • Instrumentation
  • Supervision of the operation of the CIAR user by the INTA. Service provided to view the operation of the user’s systems.

The previous three points converge on a functional structure that coordinates the previous necessities, according to figure A.Figure A

The result of joining the previous necessities is offering to the future users of the CIAR and integral and complete service, innovative, for the testing of Aerial Research Platforms, both manned and unmanned, trials and experimental works necessary to certify, qualify, check, homologate, integrate, test, and research components, equipment, subsystems and systems.

The information transmitted by the systems in operation is displayed in real time in the control center, where all the systems are integrated. This operational core of the center has 5 operator positions and a universal reference time base for all operations. The control center is responsible for the reception, distribution, processing, display and storage of flight test data.

In addition, a KVM management software is available to assign the control of any system to each position.
