The Unmanned Systems Test Center (CEUS) is an operation center for the C-295, although this aircraft can carry out test campaigns from remote bases with the operational limitations of the aircraft itself.
The center will have two hangars and a 2km long runway. In addition, it will have the systems of the El Arenosillo Experimentation Center (CEDEA), such as optronic and radar systems, communications tools and data processing.
The Rozas Airport Research Center (CIAR) is a Test Center where both PAIs and new UAS developments are integrated and is located at the Rozas aerodrome, in Lugo.
The center has the aeronautical infrastructures necessary for the safe operation of the plane: operations control center, communications system, radar, flight runway, security systems, etc. It is also equipped with those facilities required to support PAI activities, such as a laboratory, workshop, meeting rooms, hangar, etc.
The ground segment also includes the fixed and mobile instrumentation necessary to acquire complementary field data to those taken from the air: weather station, ground truth data collection units, instrumentation for sensor calibration and maintenance, modules for data analysis and validation, etc.
